Cat and Squirrel Nose to Nose

(Original Caption) 12/8/1949-New York, NY: It happened at the Hotel McAlpin where cats and kittens are holding forth in annual feline show. "Jungle Baby", an alley cat was waiting to make his entrance in the judges circle when a long tailed squirrel happened on the scene. "Charlie" (the squirrel) hopped up on the table and rubbed noses with "Baby", completely mystifying the cat.
