Taiwan opposition leader Lien Chan gestu

TAIPEI, TAIWAN: Taiwan opposition leader Lien Chan gestures during a protest rally in Taipei, 20 May 2004 as his political rival President Chen Shui-bian was sworn in for a second four-year term. The opposition is disputing Chen's re-election, claiming it was the result of an unfair election. Chen won the 20 March presidential polls by a razor-thin margin of 0.22 percent, or 30,000 votes.
