Louisiana Senator Kennedy Supports Sessions Attorney General Nomination

Freshman Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana says that most Americans probably do not care about politics in Washington, but President Trump would not nominate unqualified persons for his cabinet. Kennedy says that no one looking at the record of Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General can say he is not qualified for the position. Kennedy says that sessions will respect the rule of law, knowing the difference between creating law and executing it, saying it is clear to him that Senator Sessions understands individual liberty, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to protect the unprotected, offering his unconditional support for Sessions.
