PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA - 2006/04/09: A man rinses recycled plastic bags in a sewage and garbage-filled pond on the edge of Steung Meanchey dump in Phnom Penh. Hundreds of families make their living from the dump, picking recyclable goods from the city's refuse. Dozens of families live directly atop the mountain of waste. Over the years, the dump has grown drastically, pouring into adjacent neighborhoods as those neighborhoods fill with people looking to make money from the dump.
