FOLEY SQUARE, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES - 2016/11/16: Over 300 actions in all 50 states engaged in a national day of action in solidarity to stop the 3.8 billion dollar Dakota Access Pipeline. In New York City a mix of 2000-plus indigenous and non-indigenous water protectors rallied in Foley Square, a park across the street from the Army Corps of Engineers who, on Monday, November 15, temporarily halted the pipeline's construction. Following the rally a group of activists blocked the heavily trafficked streets for over an hour. Thirty-nine were arrested. (Photo by Michael Nigro/Pacific Press/LightRocket via Getty Images)
