GENERAL INFORMATION: MINNEAPOLIS, MN. 5/29/2002: Throughout their school lives, their disablities kept them sequestered in "special" classes. But on Wednesday, kids in the WRAP (Washburn Resource Adaptive Program) took their place in the spotlight, sharing stories about their lives with their Washburn high school classmates. The hour-long production featured large, colorful puppets and masks, created by the WRAP kids with the help of a studio arts class of mainstream kids. Artists from Galumph Theatrecoordinated the storytelling and puppet making, during a two-month process that became a learning experience for everyone.
