Tsar Nicholas II (1968 - 1918) and Empress Alexandra (1872 - 1918) attend a private reception at the new Imperial Pavilion specially erected at the Warsaw Station, Moscow, 18th May 1896. They then proceeded to the Petrovsky Palace, where they stayed prior to their state entry into the city for their coronation ceremony.
