President Sebastian Pinera decreed a state of catastrophe throughout Chile for ninety days before the advance of Covid-19, this measure is in effect from 00:00 on Thursday, March 19. The President has the exceptional powers to restrict: the freedoms of locomotion and assembly; arrange requisitions of goods; establish limitations to the exercise of the property right; and, adopt all the extraordinary administrative measures that are necessary for the prompt restoration of normality in the affected area, in Osorno, Chile.
