The cacao tree (Theobroma cacao, meaning food of the gods) is the tree that gives rise to the fruit called cocoa. In cocoa we can use your pulp and its seeds. From the pulp, we get juices, jellies, etc. From the seeds comes the chocolate, which with a little effort we can produce at home. If the intent is to taste the fruit, remove it from your head which will be chocolate. The pulp surrounding the seeds has a sweet and slightly acidic flavor. To eat, remove each seed and go savoring.
