The woman, sought on a warrant, was in court within 14 minutes of her arrest after the policewomen spotted her on the street. Ann Arbor is one of only two cities that have uniformed, armed women police officers walk street patrols and ride in police cruisers. At present there are three qualified policewomen on Ann Arbor's force.
