(Original Caption) U.S. automobile tycoon Henry Ford II speaks to reporters here 3/14 after visiting Elysee Palace to thank French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing for aid in installing a Ford parts factory at Bordeaux. Ford put in a plug for the Concorde SST, urging that the plane be allowed to land in New York. Ford said that in his opinion the U.S. was "very stupid" not to have built its own supersonic aircraft.
