Bobby Orr Lying on Ice, Holding Face
(Original Caption) Bruins' defenseman Bobby Orr holds gloves to face after he was hit in the face by the hockey stick of the Maple Leaf's Brian Conacher. Following emergency first aid, Orr went after the Toronto player and their battle ignited a major donnybrook in which both benches cleared and a total of 26 minutes in penalties were assessed. Orr required three stitches to close the wound. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
