US diver Chelsea Davis receives aid afte

MONTREAL, Canada: US diver Chelsea Davis receives aid after smacking her forehead into the 3m springboard during the preliminary competition at the World Swimming Championships but apparently emerged without serious injuries 22 July 2005 in Montreal, Canada. But the 17-year-old's miscue produced a frightened silence at the diving pool when she hit her head - the end of the board cutting across the bridge of her nose - and fell face first into the water as she attempted an inward two and a half somersault.
