A Paramedic from the Kwazulu -Natal Emergencies Medical Rescue Services (EMR) inspects an ambulance stationed at Durban's Wentworth Hospital on February 28, 2010, as part of the Provincial Health and Communications Centre set up to deal with any medical emergencies during the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup. The multi million dollar Centre is to effectively deal with emergencies, monitor status and disease surveillance and will be designated to various hospitals during the World Cup.The 24 hour Centre will act as a jock and to log infected diseases that maybe detected and will be linked to all the airports around the country.
