Evergreens Converging Above Me. Over the years, I've seen and captured many an image with tall trees all around while looking to the skies above. Amazing but sometimes a tricky one to capture, given the large possible dynamic range with clouds in the skies and then more shadowed areas in the trees and leaves. That's what I had to work with this view and metered as best I could with a mean type location in the areas reflected by the sunlight. Even then some highlights couldn't be recovered, but I did decide to use a Low Key CEP filter in Capture NX2 to bring out a moodier feel to the shadows while standing under these tall, tall evergreens. The main focus was trying to find that point to have a full convergence of trees all around me.
