William Barr insists on evenhanded justice in divided political climate

Attorney General nominee William Barr tells the Senate Judiciary Committee it is the Attorney General's responsibility to evenhandedly enforce the law with integrity, ensure law enforcement is above and away from politics, nothing more destructive of the system of government then the rule of law or Justice Department is an institution then toleration of political interference, he believes more strongly than 27 years earlier in a time when the country is deeply divided in which the American people have to know there are places in government where rule of law holds sway and they will be treated fairly solely on facts and evenhanded application of law.
