Humboldt Forum Opening Delayed To 2020

BERLIN, GERMANY - JUNE 17: Construction work in front of the reconstructed Baroque facade of the Humboldt Forum stands on June 17, 2019 in Berlin, Germany. The Humboldt Forum will occupy the rebuilt Berliner Schloss palace and will include exhibition spaces, an ethnological museum and an Asian art museum. Originally designated to open later this year, the opening has been delayed until 2020 due to complications with the temperature control system. The Humboldt Forum, named after German explorer Alexander von Humboldt, is designed by Italian architect Franco Stella, who is mixing a modern portion against reconstructed portions of the original Baroque building. The original building was heavily damaged during World War II and then torn down by communist authorities in East Germany. (Photo by Christian Ender/Getty Images)
