Kurdish Group In Japan Denies Offence Before Tokyo Brawls

SAITAMA, JAPAN – OCT. 28: A group of Kurds living in Japan on October 28 announced that the members did not make any offence before a series of brawls involving Turks and Kurds on October 25 in Tokyo. But it issued an apology for any nuisances to the Japanese people. At least nine people including two police officers were injured in the brawls near the Turkish Embassy in Tokyo. More than 600 people with Turkish nationality, including both Turks and Kurds, had gathered at the embassy which began accepting overseas votes for the Nov. 1 general election in Turkey.
