Koeman left disappointed despite Everton win

Press conference with Everton manager Ronald Koeman following the 2-0 Europa League win over Hajduk Split. He says his team played well in the first half but he wasn’t happy they didn’t kill Hajduk off in the second half, says it wasn’t a case of needing a more clinical striker – the team as a whole were not performing in the second half, he says he can’t put his finger on why the team eased off, says it was disappointing to see trouble in the crowd but he can’t comment further, says he was pleased with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s performance and a clean sheet was a positive of the game, says it was nice to have Aaron Lennon involved again after his health problems and says Gylfi Sigurdsson got a good reception when he was paraded on the pitch before kick off but he’s not sure if he’ll be ready to be involved against Man City on Monday.
