Because people would have realised deceit and skullduggery was behind the interview. Whistleblower is someone who asks uncomfortable questions. It was a massive scoop. I asked questions which were inconvenient. They turned their back on me. -HOW WOULD YOU CHARACTERISE THE WAY YOU WERE TREATED? The public needs to understand that I was very happy at the BBC and privileged to work on Panorama. Given huge opportunities there. For those people that knew me to turn around me and shun me, was really galling and shocking. 25 years on, I don't know how perfectly nice people just turned out to be so wicked to protect their scoop and status they got.
