Primary voting in five states today could make or break some presidential campaigns. Republican front-runner Donald Trump sounded confident in Tampa on Monday. But Florida Senator Marco Rubio needs to win in-- in his home state today to keep his hopes alive. Likewise for Ohio Governor John Kasich in his Buckeye State. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton has a chance to put the race away. Bernie Sanders could prevent that though with big wins in states like Illinois and Ohio. An eye-opening study suggests recent outbreaks of things like the measles are due in part to vaccines wearing off over time. The Journal of the American Medical Association says recent outbreaks of measles and pertussis are due mainly to people either not getting vaccinated or the vaccine fading over time. For instance, everyone needs a tetanus and diphtheria booster every ten years. So if you were twelve the last time you had a tetanus shot, you're due for one at twenty-two. A British study assigned nearly seven hundred smokers to quit abruptly or to gradually cut back over two weeks before quitting. Now the patients in the cold turkey group were twenty-five percent more likely to quit in the short term and still be smoke-free six months later. Both groups used nicotine replacement therapy. The new species lived ninety million years ago. It was about the size of a horse, weighing up to six hundred pounds. The timurlengia is a member of the tyrannosaur family but according to scientists is not an ancestor of the T. Rex. Fossils of the species were discovered in Uzbekistan between 1997 and 2006. It's fascinating.
