India disinfects public transportations due to coronavirus

NEW DELHI, INDIA - MARCH 17: Public buses and private cars are disinfected on Wednesday (March 3) in the Indian capital New Delhi as the death toll in the country rose to at least three. A 64-year old man in Kasturba Hospital in the western Maharashtra state, where the largest of the number of coronavirus cases -- 36 -- have been confirmed among the country's 126, was the third person to die in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a media statement. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus in India, the health ministry announced a temporary travel ban from the EU, U.K., and Turkey on Monday, to be effective from Wednesday. On Tuesday, the ministry also suspended travel from Afghanistan, the Philippines and Malaysia. On March 11 all tourist visas were suspended until April 15, with a compulsory 14-day quarantine period for those traveling from or transiting through the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. -(Footage by Amarjeet Kumar Singh/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
