Tourism in Italy taking a hit amid Coronavirus Covid 19 fears

In recent years, Italians especially in Venice have complained of over-tourism - fuelled by huge crowds from cruise ships. But since the outbreak, busy squares are now empty, amid fears covid-19 could be costing the tourism industry billions of euros. To show the impact the outbreak is having on Rome, we took a tour of the Italian streets which were unusually empty, despite not being part of the lockdown on 9th March, 2020 in Rome, Italy
