'Gays Against Guns’ protest to demand stricter gun control, New York City
NEW YORK, NY – OCTOBER 02, 2017: The LGBTQ group Gays Against Guns NYC rallied in Union Square and marched to Times Square in response to the Las Vegas massacre. Hundreds marched chanting "Fuck the NRA" (National Rifle Association of America) and demanding stricter gun control. The march ended with a rally in Times Square where several guest speakers took part - among the speakers was New York City Public Advocate Letitia A. 'Tish' James and Gale Brewer, President of the New York City borough of Manhattan and a Democratic politician from the state of New York.
