This rare Critically Endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) footage was captured whilst scuba diving at Phi Phi islands in the Andaman Sea, Krabi, Thailand. Sea Turtles are reef dwelling creatures who feed mainly on jellyfish and coral. They are classed as critically endangered on the IUCN red list, due to being hunted for their meat and shell. This footage shows their primal instinctive behavior as they forage for food on the reef. This animal has a section of its shell missing, possibly as a result of deformity or injury.
