GREAT SALT LAKE, UT — 1953: Californian Don Vesco brought a number of interesting cars to run speed trials on the Bonneville Salt Flats, including this 4-Port Wino-0 Special. Jimmy Dinkins was the driver, and he crashed the car at an estimated 170 mph during his run. Despite having the top of his crash helmet ground out, Dinkins emerged from the wreckage unhurt.
