WASHINGTON, DC - SEPTEMBER 05: Retired U.S. Army Captain Larry Taylor is awarded the Medal of Honor by President Joe Biden in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House on September 05, 2023 in Washington, DC. In June of 1968, Taylor landed his Cobra attack helicopter under intense enemy fire to rescue a four-man long-range reconnaissance patrol that had been surrounded and pinned down.
