Greens, Purples, Browns and Whites. A setting in the Merced Valley just before the El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park. A friend and I had come across this site the day prior and seen just how amazing a view it was. Needless to say, we knew we'd want to visit the site again the following day and spend more time taking in the views as well as capturing images of the setting."n"nFor this image, I wanted to capture more of a milky look to the waters of the Merced River flowing by. Thankfully with the overcast skies above, it was much easier to do and really only required closing down on the aperture in order to lengthen the shutter opening.
