The Six Gill shark is often called the "Blunt-nose" sixgill, or the cow shark. This shark is the largest growing up to 16 ft. in length. It's one of the most commonly studied deep sea shark, because of the depths it lives and the how this sharks finds its food in the oceans abyss. A powerful body, heavy,broad head and large eyes the color of fluorescent blue-green.They have only one dorsal fin located towards the back of its body near the caudal fin. Most sharks have only 5 gills, compared to this beautiful creature of the deep with six gills.
