The Imperial Household Agency announced that Prince Hisahito, the eldest son of the Akishinonomiya family, has been accepted by the National University of Tsukuba, located in Ibaraki Prefecture, and will enroll in April. According to the Imperial Household Agency, Prince Hisahito, a third-year student of a high school affiliated with the University of Tsukuba, was accepted into a department of Biology, in the faculty of “Life and Environmental Studies”.
