Senator Booker impassioned plea to Senator Paul over anti-lynching bill during George Floyd funeral
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker says in objecting to a consent request by Kentucky Republican Rand Paul to amend the Emmett Till Antilynching Act that one of the first bills he wrote was with Paul and he was raw at another time when another unarmed black man was shot, going as far as to openly talk about ProPublica data in time magazine about a black man in America being shot 100 times of not more by police so he did not question the sincerity of his convictions after too many conversations to question his heart but he was so raw to be doing that that day of all days during a funeral for late Minneapolis resident George Floyd killed in police custody.
