DAKAR, SENEGAL - AUGUST 3: Senegal's 49-metre-high bronze statue the African Renaissance Monument in the capital Dakar symbolizes the triumph of African liberation from centuries of ignorance and racism.
Inaugurated in 2010 the monument became the tallest statue in Africa.
