Runaway Train Derails In California
COMMERCE, CA - JUNE 20: Lumber is scattered after a runaway freight train derailed June 20, 2003 in Commerce, California. Some of the lumber ended up in the yards of trackside homes. The train cars, which got loose during a switching operation, derailed after speeding toward Los Angeles for some 30 miles. At least 12 people suffered minor injuries, according to authorities.
